HERE'S HOW TO DO IT Getting Started:
Save recyclables in the recycling cart provided by West Valley Disposal Service.
Items to Recycle:
Now recycling is easier than ever.
The Recycling cart may be placed in front of your residence every other week for collection.
You should place the cart near the curb three feet from your drive way and three feet from your waste cart.
Please note: your recyclable materials will be collected with a different truck than your regular waste and consequently will be collected at a different time of day.
The Community of Mountain House, in coordination with West Valley Disposal Service, provides curbside recycling to residents of Mountain House. The blue recycling cart is provided to you to store your recyclable materials.

Items to Recycle:
All bottles, cans, jars and plastic containers should be rinsed clean. Cans and plastic containers should be crushed to provide more room. All container caps must be removed and discarded in your regular garbage.
We observe Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
Please see the Holiday Collection Schedule for more details.
Christmas trees may be set out on the curb for pickup on your scheduled trash day. Trees six feet tall and over should be cut in half. Flocked and treated trees may be set out as they will be separated at the Tracy Material Recovery Facility. Tinsel, ornaments and tree stands can not be recycled with the green organi and must be removed prior to pickup.
